About the Owner
Enviromark is led by Mark Barry, a former Environment Agency Lead Permitting Officer (Installations), who spent 13 years within the Agency and 8 years in Local Authority roles.
As a Principal Permitting Officer for Regulated Industry (Installations), he reviewed and determined complex environmental permit applications across multiple industrial sectors. He also served as the national Food and Drink Sector Lead and led the four-year BREF permit review implementation programme. His background also includes extensive work on chemical and pharmaceutical processes, surface treatment, combustion and energy generation.
He holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Science and is Certified Carbon Literate (2023) and Water Literate (2025).
